I use a cost-per-inch guideline to price the original paintings; however, some processes require more time and planning in order to get the desired effect. That is reflected in the prices listed on my sale page. Regardless, I try to keep the affordability vs the perceived value of fine art in mind and in check when it comes to making my work available to art friends and collectors.
